It was so much fun to photograph Kayla and Mitchell’s wedding, they were the most laid back and fun couple to work with. Life has a funny way of working out when you find yourself taking your old classmates wedding photos and believe me I was honored to do it.

Those who know Kayla and Mitchell know they are the perfect pair, their personalities compliment each other so well. They were both smiling all day long and just excited to be marrying their best friends. We started the day with the usual Iowa July heat and humidity however I would say we were blessed with some great Iowa thunderstorms as well. Of course they didn’t mess with our photo schedule and they made for some pretty skies. Plus they say rain on your wedding day is good luck for the bride and groom! The entire day was spent surrounded by family and friends that you could tell were all just as happy the couple.
