I made a road trip over to the Elks Lodge in Waterloo, IA to celebrate Thao and Scotts wedding two weeks ago and it was well worth with! We had a gorgeous day and every forecasted storm held off (Thao and I crossing our fingers all night before worked).

Thao put so much planning into the wedding, she thought through every little detail and the results were breathtaking. Thao was a stunning bride, the bridesmaids and I all agree the designer should call her to be a model for that dress. The reception decor looked like it could have been in a magazine and the food was amazing.

My favorite part of the day however was watching how happy these two were together. You can tell that they bring each other comfort and joy and truly are each others best friends.
Surrounded by family and friends these two danced the night away and I never saw the smiles leave their faces.
